I live in a beautiful part of the world. Because we see it everyday, that beauty becomes commonplace and therefore, at times, invisible. We may pass a scene a thousand times but,
on a given day, the light is just right or the weather conditions are unusual or we’ve never taken notice at this particular time of year. That’s what I look to capture – a scene that may be familiar but, because it’s at a unique moment in time, we’re actually seeing it for the first time.
